Picture the Sentence Lite is a mobile application available for the iPhone, serving as a streamlined version of a more comprehensive original. Its primary purpose is to support basic language comprehension and auditory processing skills through sentence-level exercises. The app offers three adjustable difficulty levels, allowing users to progressively focus on key elements within sentences and develop the ability to visualize meaning independently of visual cues.

This tool can be particularly valuable to individuals working on English language acquisition or enhancement. When voice commands are disabled and the text display is enabled, it also provides an effective platform for practicing fundamental reading comprehension skills.

Recognizing that intensive listening tasks may pose challenges for certain users, the app incorporates an engaging "Pick-a-Door" game. This optional feature offers brief breaks at adjustable intervals, facilitating sustained engagement and reducing fatigue.

Options available within the Settings menu include:

• Choice between color icons or stick figures for visual representation
• Difficulty levels: Easy (slower with persistent visual support), Intermediate (faster with brief visual flashes), and Advanced (no pauses or visual aids)
• Text display preferences: On or Off
• Subject focus: Pronouns (he/she/they) or nouns (boy/girl/children)
• Sandtimer: Delays presentation of visual choices to increase working memory challenge
• Sentence structure: Subject + Verb + Object
• Progress and data tracking features

Regarding privacy, the app maintains strict confidentiality by not collecting any personal data from users. It contains no advertisements or in-app purchases. Performance data remains stored locally without transmission.
